The look in your house, there are no fathers in the home no more.

Where is your soul? 70% of our households are led by our precious proud, black women.

But as proud, beautiful, and fine, as our black women are,

one thing a black woman cannot do. A black woman cannot raise a black boy to be a man.

If you choose to ask me today, do Black Lives Matter? Let me answer like this. No, black lives do not matter. Black lives will not matter. Black lives

should not matter.

Black lives should not matter. Black lives must not matter until black people start respecting black lives and stop killing ourselves, black lives can

never matter.

Tomorrow's Labor Day and I'm going to be off in solidarity with laborers across this country but I could not let the

weekend go by without responding to a man that I actually at one time admired or

actually I admired up until this sermon

I mean I was pushing I was like oh Jasper Williams is getting ready to to bring the

heat he's gonna he's going to show the world the black whooping tradition he's

going to you know preach the gospel he's going to eulogize a wreather and instead he brought

his 1980s male supremacy, respectability politics mixed in with a little white supremacy theology.

And he delivered that to millions. with a little white supremacy theology.

And he delivered that to millions of people across the world.

And that became the representation of the black church that so many people are familiar with because this this stems from a

tradition in the black church that has nothing to do with religion or faith has nothing to do with
