Today's case is utterly jaw-dropping,

not only because of the notoriety of this offender and his continuous re-offending,

but the way he was caught was one of the most bizarre and incredible captures I've ever heard of within British policing.

This case starts in the 1970s and goes right up to the present day.

In the 1970s, the women of Bristol, England, were in danger.

From 1977 to 1979, seven women had been sexually assaulted on the streets of Bristol around the Clifton area.

These women had been walking alone when they were approached by a man and then violently sexually assaulted.
