First offer correction from episode 60, a couple of you pointed out that I said Austria

and Newstria were the two main royal courts in the north of the realm of the Franks.

Of course I meant to say Austria and Newstria.

And to be clear, Newstria is based around Paris with Austria at Cologne and the Rhine.

Anyway, today is the final episode in our end of the century series and it's all listener

questions.

I don't anticipate these end of the century tours taking quite as many episodes as this

one did.

However, as you now know, the appearance of Islam is not only one of the biggest events

in world history, but it's also shrouded in mystery.

Was the whole nose removed just enough to cause disfigurement or somewhere in between?
