Hi, friends. Welcome to another episode of That Sounds Fun. I'm your host, Annie F. Downs,

and I'm so glad we are here together today. First of all, I want to thank our buddy from

last week, Dave Barnes, for this great music you are hearing in and out of our segments.

His new album, Who New It Would Be So Hard To Be Myself Released just last week, and it is so

good, so make sure you pick it up. Today on the show is our most, I think our most requested

guest ever, comedian John Christ. You know how I am? The people that I bring on this show are either

people that I'm a fan of, or my actual friends, that I really want you to know. My very favorite

thing is introducing my friends to my friends, and John and I have kind of run in the same world

for long enough that it totally felt like that. So it's really fun for me to get to have him on

the show, and to get to make you guys happy, because that's who you've been requesting.

A couple of things I want you to know about this episode to help you put this in perspective. I don't

know that I've ever told you what it looks like where we record. Sometimes you've heard people talk

about it, but today, John and I recorded at my dad's office in Marietta, Georgia, and so he's a CPA,

so we're sitting at the desk, and with one microphone between us, and he's on one side of the

desk, I'm on the other, surrounded by boxes of tax returns. So you can just imagine that,

if John's on one side, I'm on the other. Also, my assistant was in the room with us as well,

so you may hear us reference her a couple of times. So I just want you to know that if it sounds a

little bit differently, it is an anti-problem, not a producer problem. Chad's the very best. It is

because I only had one microphone, and we were just doing the best we could. Also, John and I talk

about an experience I had recently called on-site workshops. I am probably not super ready to talk

much more about it. I hope that's okay with you, but in the next few months, we will have the

director of on-site miles ad cocks on the show, and I will talk more and more about it. But as John
