Scott Mason talks with former NHL PR Rep Joe Barone and Rob Pelaez of Blank Slate Media to discuss their first annual Sam Ol' Jets Tournament! Joe and Rob are both lifelong Jets fans from a families of lifelong Jets fans, so what happened when they put their heads together? They created the first annual Same Ol' Jets Tournament in the mold of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament! But what makes this tournament different is that it is not about the best or worst moments in Jets history, but the "Jetsiest" moments in Jets history, meaning events that only could have happened to the Jets. The beauty of the tournament is that while you will see all the familiar favorites and recent moments, there are a ton of fun historical deep cuts that span the 50+ year existence of the franchise that only hardcore Jets fans would know about. Joe and Rob both did a terrific job of putting these brackets together and drew well from their own memories, the memories of family members, and exhaustive research on the team's history.
