Were you a household that allowed television freely or is it very regulated?

I watched so much TV every free second that I could get.

My mom used to joke with me saying, you watch so much TV, you should just be an actor.

And I would reply, no mom, I'm going to be a lawyer.

And so maybe she put it in my head, but I watched a lot of television.

We didn't have cable growing up, so I watched bad action movie replays, animaniacs, Mr. Rogers.

I guess I did watch a lot of TV, especially in comparison to my sisters.

On weekends, both his parents would run errands and they would drop off all the kids at an aunt's house.

And she had cable, and I can still remember the pink like Shag Rug in her bedroom.
