Greg you said you were quote unquote perplexed but you've got a new take now don't

yeah? I do a little bit bells I slept on it I think

we recorded the last last week's show like hours after or minutes after after the lineup was released and barely had time to process it always

dangerous always dangerous and I don't think like the the initial shock had worn

off and and I'm talking about the names on there where you're just going no these guys can't be these guys can't be our best 23 you know we've got the full pool available there's no way this is our best group right and

after after sort of just thinking about it for a while like I started to convince myself

and this is just a working theory but I basically convinced myself that this isn't the best 23 and it's not

intended to be the best 23 so I've got I've been working on the theory that this is very much a

a means to an end as far as roster selections go.

So I mean I guess we should point out for those who didn't listen to last week's episode, I think

the names that we were most perplexed by were

Sergeant and waya, Josh, Sergeant and Tim waya not being included. Is that right?

And then... Yeah, those are the two big ones that really like hit you right in the stomach

Dwayne Holmes as well it seems it seemed like he had perhaps worked his way into consideration and then and then the And then the inclusion of Omar Gonzalez, I guess, and then the sort of

of all the January camp wingers, like Jonathan was and Corey Baird. Yeah, right guys who don't seem to like move the needle much as far as getting you excited about what this team's capable of.

Right. So why are you more comfortable with the holdoveriness of this roster?

I kind of started to think about it more from like a, almost like an educational background, where I feel like if you think about every window is sort of a one-off window and you just call on your best players and see if you can sort of put some pieces together,

then we would, then we'd be sort of right to be sort of angered by this roster.

And then that's what we were used to, right?
