I'm excited about today's episode. Our guest is Don Eden Goldstein, who is a convert from

Reform Judaism, first to Protestantism and then to Catholicism. And so I wanted to share a little bit of her story, so we've got an interview with her by phone.

Don, thanks for coming on the show.

Thank you so much for having me on, Joe.

Well, for those who don't know,

Don is the author of Sunday will never be the same.

And the first thing I want to say the book is I'm really

amused and appreciative of all of the musical puns you have throughout.

Oh, thank you.

Do you want to give listeners a hint for why you chose to do that.

So I know it relates to your own personal story.

Well, you know, I didn't exactly use puns, but I think what you mean is that I title each

chapter with the title of a song.

Right, right, that's what I mean.

Yeah, yeah, no, I mean, you know, to an English speaker, it can also sound like a pun, but I actually try to avoid using puns in books because my books have been translated into a number of languages now and so I pity the poor translator who has to capture the sense of an English language pun.

But yes, well, of an English language pub.
