This episode will be a bit different than my other episodes. With the upcoming Biocontrols Conference in Portland, Oregon next week, I wanted to interview a couple of key speakers and key attendees prior to the show. It's March 4th to 6th and tickets

are still available if you're in the area. One challenge is that some of the agricultural

companies are still leery about cannabis, so some of the speakers that will be at the conference

were unable to get permission from their company to come on the podcast because, as you know, it's geared towards cannabis. But you can learn more about the conference

at www.wbio-controllsus.com. And it's an annual conference, so there will be other opportunities

if you can't make it this year. So for this podcast, I caught up with Suzanne Wainwright-Evins,

who most listeners are familiar with, to talk about the cannabis aphid, which is the topic of her talk at the conference.

I also interviewed John Sanderson, who is professor of entomology at Cornell University with

over 30 years experience in pest management on greenhouse crops, and Ronald Valentin,

the director of technical business for Bioworks and Justin McGill,

head grower at Legit Farm North. I hope to see you at the conference and I plan on following up with

conference that I'm going to be at as well as you and a few other people that have been on the

so I know a little bit about it. But can you kind of share with listeners,

since you've been to many more of these conferences and I have kind of what it's all about
