Charlie Turner Thorn has been in the game for many decades now, and she has made an impact in so many different ways.

Over 25 years at Arizona State, one of the winningest coaches

in Pac-12 history played for Tara Vannevere at Stanford, just an illustrious career. Now,

doing some broadcasting, we working with the Phoenix Mercury, and we just, we know that success

leaves footprints, and we love having mentor coaches on that can help you learn from both the things they did well and mistakes they made along the way. So Charlie, thanks a lot for joining us today. Yeah, my pleasure. Thanks for having me. Yeah. So you watch a lot of basketball. You're around a lot of basketball. You're around a lot of basketball. You've been in it forever. I'm going to start with a big picture, zoom out kind of question.

What stayed the same and what's changed?

Where do coaches need to adapt just from the learnings from what you're watching in the game?

Well, a lot has changed.

I mean, in the sense, when I was playing for Tara at Stanford, it was like power game, right?

Two posts, three out, two in.

The game was just very different.

And I think Tara in particular was a visionary in terms of how she continued to evolve

her offenses.

But, you know, obviously, like in the W now, I mean, every, almost every team is open post

offense.
