In the gloomy recesses of an ancient manner, nestled amiss the desolate maws.

There resided a recluse known only as Lord Raven'scroft, shrouded in mystery and the whispered tales of his malevolent

deeds, he lived alone save for his faithful servant, a man of gaunt countenance named Grimshaw.

One moonless night as the wind howled mournfully through the barren branches outside.

A weary traveler sought refuge at the doors of Ravenscroft Manor.

His name was Edward Sinclair, a gentleman of modest means, whose carriage had faltered in the midst of the unforgiving wilderness.

Reluctantly, Lord Ravencroft granted him shelter for the night under the condition that he not

wander the halls after dusk had descended.

But Sinclair, heedless of the warnings, found himself unable to resist the allure of the ancient corridors.

As midnight approached Sinclair stumbled upon a locked chamber, its door adorned with strange

symbols and faded signs.

Ignoring the warnings etched upon its surface, he forced his way inside, only to be greeted by a sound that

would haunt his dreams for eternity.
