And it all feels a little bit like history. That's an old song that. My name is I like Smith to get about me on Twitter.

That's an old song that probably no one knows.

I don't know anything about that song, except that little bit. But it does all feel a little bit like history repeating as the song goes, deja vu all over again as the saying goes. A lot of familiarity with what's happening at the moment. And it doesn't feel great. And, you know, I was listening to the arts cast so that I could jot down everything they said verbatim and try to put it in my own words for this podcast. And they were talking about it like ruining the weekend and how you feel. And I do have to say like, you know, you see people tearing each other apart on Twitter and the discord or getting mad at each other and like, why do people be this way? And then I realize why, right? Like, this made me miserable, like legitimately miserable. Now, it's hard to tell if it made me as miserable as I think because right after the game, I had to go to two different children's birthday parties. So maybe that's what made me miserable, but I'm pretty sure it was the Arsenal game. And so it is one of those things that we have to remind ourselves, like, we care so much about this. And there are times when I'm like, is it healthy? Is it healthy to be this upset about it? We'll talk about why it's so upsetting where we're going from here, the lineup, the performance, what it means for the season and all of that. But there is one group of people that I am proud of. And I want to talk about that because being proud of people and being positive is something that we could probably use right now. And that is you. You, if you are hearing my voice right now, I am proud of you. When we launched this fundraiser, we said, let's hit a 50,000 pound goal. And quietly, when I was talking the foundation, when talking to ours blog, talking everybody, I wasn't sure we could hit it, but we'd give generously and we'd do our best.

And it looks like we're going to get at or beyond 90,000 pounds, over $120,000 of funds raised.

There are children who will have books and clothes and blankets in war-torn areas around the world because of what you did.

Because you care about the club and this community and the Arsenal Foundation.

And what you did helps people.

It is easy to just look at the number and forget.

That number reflects medicine, healthcare, educational materials, clothing for kids who have lost everything to war,

from Ukraine to Syria, to Yemen and beyond. And so I cannot thank you enough. We will close that out

today. You have through the balance of the day today, and then I will draw the two winners of the

VIP tickets from the main fundraiser and close the auction where the remaining tickets are up as well.

So all of that will be done at the end of the day today. It doesn't mean you can't continue to

give, but if you're giving because you want to win, that's it. One week, one week, Clive's on
