but introducing these lovely independent game festival awards to one Natalie Watson. Congratulations to Natalie Watson, the keyblade master herself in mortality at the IGF awards at GDC this week in mortality came home with the Excellence in Narrative and the Innovation Award to where the awards for a very well-made game scene.

I don't think it's streamed live and I haven't seen a clip up or else I would share it, but seeing Natalie up on stage, excepting the award on behalf of the game was my heart, my heart grew as a result of seeing how far our little Natalie bird has flown since it's being here.

But me, I'm still here, episode 552, welcome to waypoint, I can't leave. I'm just here. And thankfully, I've contained other people into this prison of podcasts with me, one Ricardo Contreras.

I like to think of it as a nice room of podcasts. A conversation pit. A nice little, yeah, sure, a conversation pit of podcast.

People when they take days off, very common, I want to extend my weekend, I want to take a Friday, take a Monday, just like,

ooh, like I got so many options on what to do. Very rarely does one take the Wednesday, the day off in the middle of the week, which is just like a,

well, I guess it's a day off. It's just, it's what, what happened? Explain to me what, what happened on Wednesday?

So one Wednesday is my like, well, fuck me day usually where it's like, I, I will have to, it's usually my day where like I'm most blog starved and also I'm probably not on a stream.

So I was just like, well, just do a Wednesday because like I were booked on Mondays, we're booked on Thursdays and we're generally booked on Fridays, not all the time, but I'm usually booked on Fridays.

I like the, I like my job. I like, I like being on things, I like being on Mike. And so I was going to take a day off that was like mostly just admin work and writing and like scanning around.

And I thought to myself, oh, I'm going to have such a good one. I'm going to, I'm going to wake up. I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to sleep in a little bit.

I'm going to wake up, I'm going to go to a cafe, work on a personal project that I started a little bit ago. I'm going to do some, I'm going to do some research, I'm going to have a really nice time.

And I woke up at about 10, 15 in the morning and I stayed at my girlfriend's place.

My girlfriend's door to her bedroom doesn't latch. I need to fix this because what will happen is my precious stepdaughter, my baby cat, Rumi will just knock the door open.

And normally that's fine. The door is open. However, my girlfriend's roommate, I was having a friend over and it was 10 in the morning.

And so they arrived without realizing that I was also there with the door open to the living room and could hear everything that was being said as they chatted for.

I'm going to say three and a half to four hours as I tried to hide metal gear solid ask from line of sight from the door while playing the sleigh the spire on my phone.
