Subasati and we are here back in the Rumorg vault after our

amazing trip to Salem and we'll talk more about that a little bit later but we are

back for the most sacred time of year.

It is October, it is Halloween.

It's always really busy for us around Halloween,

but God damn it, do I work to enjoy it it and what better way to enjoy it than doing more work.

Yeah it's true we had a double podcast month so to speak I guess this kind of makes up for the month off that we took in

August we did record our episode on American Psycho that we did live in Salem and that will

drop in the foreseeable future. We're not

saying exactly when but we are still going to give this episode its full due and

it's due a lot man this is a big one we always go big in October and

today we are going to be covering the first three films of George A

Romero's Dead series Night of Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, and Day of the Dead.

These films are, I would consider them foundational horror texts.

They succeed in some ways, they maybe don't succeed as much in other ways to me, but you cannot ignore their importance.

They are hugely influential, not just in horror, but just in zombie lore. and if you look at the kind of last 10

15 years where zombies have gotten to in popular culture you know it's huge you know

everything from the walking dead to zombie walks all of this you know it wouldn't

exist if George A Romero hadn't put these films together in the way that he did.
