I'm John Bonus of Twinsdaily.com across from me grimacing.

For like the last five minutes he's been grimacing in various self-thoughts.

Is Aaron Gleeman of NBCSports.com? That's just me thinking, John. My brain works very slowly, and my face looks upset when my brain is... You look like you're in pain. No, well, mental pain. I'll tell you what kind of pain I'm in. We've also got Ryan Donaldson, I I shouldn't forget Ryan because he's the one who actually puts us on the air.

That makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. We appreciate you putting us on the air.

He's always grimacing because he has to actually listen to us every week.

I thought maybe you were grimacing because there's just too much to cover.

You're talking about two guys who are like mosquitoes and that we can just suck the blood

out of the twins forever.

Like in the middle of January, we will sit in a bar and talk for an hour and a half on a

podcast when there is nothing going on.

And it's like the twins are taking their skin and squeezing the blood into us to try and make us burst because for the last two weeks, either they make a big move on Saturday night or some other move on Sunday on what is already too much to talk about week. Yeah, and we actually had a lot to talk about today coming in here, as of, let's say, an hour and a half ago. For instance, we could talk about taking three or four from the Red Sox.

We could talk about blowing two games versus the White Sox. And we can talk about the lack of activity at the trade deadline, like even not doing something like that. And then so, then, you know, an hour ago or an hour and a half ago, whatever, they don't, uh, yeah, we got rid of Danny Valencia. you. They didn't even wait until Plouf came back, which is really what tells you what they think of Danny Val.

I mean, they call him up from AAA. He was not playing well at AAA, and they just needed someone to sub at third base, because everyone on the 40-man roster in terms of infielders, whether they're either hurt or just not a third baseman, they call him up. He had a homer in his first or second game, right? One of the first couple. You said something like 5 for 18 in his first game in the bats, I noticed. And so, Plouf is, surprise, surprise, going to miss more time than expected with his supposed day-to-day injury. Remember that first week when we thought he was going to be back any time and they waited seven days to put him on the deal?

The funny thing is, of course, we mocked that and we said, well, that probably means he'll miss eight weeks with the data. And we're going to, you know, he's going to end up missing a month, that sounds like something close to that. But so they don't even wait so ploof comes back. they trade Valencia to the Red Sox, which is funny, because they're in Boston.

And I would like to have seen that conversation with valencia where they go and they tell him we traded you who did you trade me to it the red sox and he thinks well i can just go walk across the the clubhouse there and just you know meet my new teammates and then they tell him uh no they're sending you to uh potucket triple a sorry Sorry, Danny. There was a trivia question a couple days ago.

I think I wanted the Twins broadcast.
