Summary

Graeme Hall talks about dogs who don’t like cars – one that barks and lunges when he’s near traffic, and one who bites and lunges when she’s put inside the car. The first is Old English Sheepdog Wilson, who Graeme met on TV’s Dogs Behaving Very Badly. Owner Joanne joins The Dogfather to catch up on how she and Wilson have been getting on since their first training session, including talking about how different collars and harnesses have made a difference on their walks. 1:10.9	Well, that's the situation Joanne was dealing with daily when I first met her for the

1:17.8	Now, Joanne, Wilson was only about, I think he was about nine months old when I came to
1:21.9	work with you, but he'd already developed some pretty worrying behavior, hadn't he?
1:26.8	Yeah, and he was growing rapidly, getting quite heavy, difficult to manage.
1:31.2	So he was lunging at buses.
1:34.2	I've seen small dogs, you know, pull into traffic, and that's bad enough.
1:38.3	But, you know, he must have been 25, 30 kilos maybe when I saw it.
1:43.3	Yeah, he's strong.
1:44.9	If he wants to chase something, he's going to chase it.
1:47.6	Yeah, and you're off your feet.
1:48.9	Yeah, exactly.
