This evening, the city of Portland, Oregon, reported that two people were shot and wounded by border patrol agents there, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

They released a statement claiming, in part, quote, the passenger of the vehicle and target is a Venezuelan illegal alien affiliated with the transitional Trend de Aragua prostitution ring

and involved in a recent shooting in Portland.

When agents identified themselves to the vehicle occupants,

the driver weaponized his vehicle

and attempted to run over law enforcement agents.

No one is illegal off stolen land.

Can you please tell us a little bit about what your reaction is to the news? I'm absolutely furious and heartbroken right now.

I'm needing to stop what I'm doing here and rush out to my district because it was heartbreaking

enough to see what is happening in a different city to know that this was coming to our community

and that one of my neighbors in my district is two of my neighbors. And my district are now sitting in a hospital bed and hopefully are going to be making it home.

But this is not the kind of community that, not the kind of reaction from a federal government that we should be having.
