Hi! Thank you for having me. It's a joy and a pleasure to be here. Well, before we get into it,

who lives in your house? Tell me. Tell me. I co-opulate like live in my house

along with husband Scott Ockermann, daughter Emerald Bertie Ockermann, also known as Emmy,

Doug's Georgia and Molly. So how old is Emmy? Emmy's seven months. I mean, I think we're around

it. Yeah, almost eight. Yeah, I'm rounding up eight months. Just say a year. I don't know,

just things move so fast day to day. Oh my god, eight months. Yeah, I'm just gonna start with

how are you doing? And for real, don't bullshit me for real. You know, I'm gonna be honest with you

and I always, this is the... Okay, so my circumstance is that we tried to get her for nine years.

Well, my first miscarriage of six was nine years ago. Yeah. And so it has been this journey

between, and how we ultimately got her was through surrogacy. Wow. Wow. Did transfers,

multiple transfers. I've been stuck. I've been prodded. My hormones are gonna bend down. So it's

been a, it's been a real adventure. And so when she came and even during the surrogacy,

yeah, I had been through so much loss, Elizabeth, you know, anything can happen. I held my breath

and clenched my butthole for the entire nine months. And then when she came, I'm gonna be honest,

maybe month two, I was able to kind of really kind of go, whoa, I've been through something,

whoa, like the trauma, the, you know, all of that. So fold that in with that journey,
