Hey there, I'm Amadal Yuckper, and this is See Something Say Something, the BuzzFeed podcast where we drink Jai, tell stories, and talk about being Muslims in America.

This week, we'll be talking about parents.

If you see something, you better, you better say something nothing nothing at all nothing at all

first I'll speak to comedian Zara Nurbukh about coming out as bye and having that

conversation with their parents and then I'm going to be calling up my dad in Michigan.

I know Donald Trump was elected last week,

and there's a lot of expectation that we'll be talking about that.

Don't worry.

We definitely will be thinking about that in the weeks to come.

But for this week, we wanted to do some storytelling

and ask some Muslims about their lives and their life story.

So, you know, stay tuned.

It'll definitely be a topic we're thinking about as the show goes forward.

But for now, we're just going to be having some conversations like we always plan to do.

And as a side note, this was recorded before the election, so we won't really be

talking about Trump.
