Hi, I'm Biz. I'm a working parent with a kid and a teen.

It's been 10 years since the show began and a lot has changed on the show and in the world.

But by elevating the voices of others, we have learned we are not alone and we are doing

a good job. This is still a show about life after giving life. This is One Bad Mother.

This week on One Bad Mother, 10 years of punk rock mama content with Meg Lemke of Mother magazine.

Biz is with her family this week, so hey, remember me? It's Teresa. I'll be your host today for

week two of the max fun drive. This is a check-in. I just wanted to check in that I had a friend

over recently and she is a friend who is a mom. She's not technically a mom friend because I'm not a mom,

but she is like, she is my friend who I've been friends with for years and everything and

she has a two-year-old and apparently she doesn't necessarily get out of the house too much in

everything. So I texted her in the other week and she's like, hey, do you your husband and your

father want to come over hang out with me and my partner and she was like, that sounds fantastic

and then they were over over the weekend and it was a lot of fun and I know that me and my partner

don't necessarily want kids but we don't mind hanging out with kids and everything every once in a

while and their toddler was a delight. Unfortunately, one of her cats was terrified of him but he was

some weird dog I'm assuming but that's okay. He was not afraid of the cat so that is what is important

to me and we all just had a lot of fun just had some dinner and play some video games and just

got to catch up so thought I will let you know that I'm I as a person without kids and trying

my best to reach out to some of my friends who do have kids to me like, hey, I still want to

hang out with you and please bring your kid along to you so you don't have to try to figure out

baby stuff like you you all are allowed so I'm trying to get better at that and first time that

I did that it worked really well so thanks thanks for the show you're doing a good job.
