Today is November 2nd, 2021, oh my goodness, we're already partway into November, and my name is Spencer Downey.

Today I'm joined as always by my co-host Jason.

Jason, I always feel like that first week of November doesn't exist because it's still Halloween.

Yeah, well also it's usually BlizzCon.

We should be at BlizzCon right now in another universe we would be, right?

That's, you know, obviously I think there's a lot of great reasons for them not to an in-person events this year.

I think there's a lot of great reasons for the step away from

doing even a BluesCon line at the moment I think those are good choices but also when I'm

looking at my memories or something online and it's like oh yeah this time two years ago three years

ago four years ago five years ago six years ago is at BlizzCon this week it is

kind of sad you know it's just it's that it's that it's that

nerd summer camp family reunion thing that was a

tradition for a long time and I'm glad they didn't do one this year or the last year I

think it was the right call not to do one this year, but you know I still I miss I miss the event I miss everybody we get to see down there so that's you know that's always the weird thing about this time a year now the last couple

years it's just like well it should be a blues con but it's not yeah yeah I

would be flying home today typically this would be my like I would have flown

actually no it's not true I would have flown home this is a weird year so I would have flown home on Halloween

this would have been very strange if they did it when they normally did unless they did it the week after.
