I'm Hi, welcome back to the show.

As you probably heard, I'm back on the Camino, so I've dragged the music off the show and use it again.

I'm really not sure how well this is going to work out.

Remember the audio nightmare I had last year on the south-west coast path, but I'm going to give it my

best shot. The good news is that recordings of both Dave and of Beth are excellent. So the

show will continue to follow them while I'm away. And I'm actually recording this by river.

It's the quietest place I could find in Zubiri after my second day on the trail.

I'm looking around and there's people cycling past with their kids on bikes.

There's a dog who barks every now and then and the river is running

under this beautiful 13th century bridge. Actually I'm going to end up the 13th century

bit but it's definitely old and you know you're going to probably hear the water

in the background plus the occasional dog as I say but let's not perfection be the enemy of the good

but we're going to start today with the getting to the Camino part of the show then we're going to hear

from Dave then my first day then Beth so here's what happened after I set off from Orlando

I'm going to start with actually my flight out of Orlando, which was fine.

I took an Uber to Orlando, which really helped. And I hardly believe this. I got my flight.

Got there the next morning. Didn't sleep at all well. It was a bit of a disaster, frankly. But, you know, that's what international travel economy is, I suppose.

Unfortunately, my bag didn't follow me. So annoying. So I'm waiting for everything to come off.

I got through passport control, no problem at all.

Very fast a system, a very efficient system in the UK right now.
