Also, I am on this whim today. And I'm going to give you the reasons, but I'm also going to give you some facts that go with my reasoning. Now, today's story on how can this happen with Betsy Bell is

One thing I thought about over the weekend was that memories fade over the

years and recall becomes a faint picture with a lot of blurred lines. One such day is forever etched

inside my mind. And the blurred lines never came. The lines are still very

bold and remain really strong. It was a Friday and my father, a surgeon, was on his way to a medical convention that was being

held in Texas. His plane landed around 1 p.m. Texas time. He deplaneed with a hundred or so

other passengers. They all trooped through the airport to the baggage claim section. All of the

passengers kept walking. Later, I learned from Dad that the feeling in the airport was very

quiet, eerily quiet. And some of the passengers were feeling a sense of uneasiness as they continued down the

promenade. The usual bustle wasn't noticeable. And they were mistakenly or unmistakingly alone

as they moved on. They passed a restaurant in the airport. The restaurant

was empty except for plates and silverware and uneaten meals that were on the tables. The chairs were moved away from the tables,

but there were no people. Now the passengers walking started to look alarmed and watched to see each

others' reactions. They passed several restaurants along their way to the front of the

airport. But the movie had the same theme. All were empty with plates on tables and
