Summary
On this week's episode of Barstool Bench Mob, Gonzaga legend Adam Morrison stops by to talk about last year's Bulldogs season including his thoughts on the National Championship loss to Baylor. He gives his NBA comps for outgoing star Jalen Suggs and incoming #1 recruit Chet Holmgren (03:56). Plus Adam opens up about his 2006 Sweet 16 loss to UCLA and if he has gotten over that pain. Adam also tells an incredible story about Kobe Bryant during their time together in Los Angeles. Jake, Rico, and Marty then break down the latest news around the college hoops world including a potential rule change regarding charges and flops (43:02). Our resident referee analyst, Rico, is not a fan of the rule change. The guys then move on to the biggest news in the recruiting world: #4 recruit Patrick Baldwin Jr. choosing to play under his father at UW-Milwaukee over Duke and Georgetown (47:23). Marty has had enough with inner-family tampering. We then recap Jake losing his mind following his big ping pong win in Stool Streams (53:38). Is Marty officially the most "normal" member of Barstool Bench Mob? We wrap things up with some more news and notes (58:00) including Remy Martin entering the transfer portal, some big schedule announcements, and Hartford's puzzling move to Division III after making the NCAA Tournament.
