Summary
From 2007-2010, Evan Turner and Mark Titus were teammates on The Ohio State Buckeyes Basketball team. In that time, Titus gave Turner the nickname "The Villain" which stuck with him the rest of his career. The two famously butted heads, as detailed in Titus' blogs at the time. For years the two have been mentioned in eachother's stories, but never have the two sat down together to talk about their relationship. Until now. Evan Turner is an American professional basketball coach and former player. He was most recently an assistant coach for the Boston Celtics. He was drafted second overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2010 NBA draft. In 2010, Turner was a first-team All-American and the John R. Wooden Award National Player of the Year while at The Ohio State University; he also became a two-time scoring champion and the Player of the Year for the Big Ten Conference. He was twice the only unanimous selection for the All-Big Ten first team by both the coaches and the media. He holds the conference record for most Conference Player of the Week awards, both in a career and in a single season. In March 2022, Evan Turner started a podcast with his former teammate from the 76ers, Andre Iguodala. The podcast is called Point Forward.
