0:27.9	you about one of my favorite partners, Christian Appalachian Project. Y'all know I love
0:33.0	CAP. May is mental health awareness month and each year millions of Americans face the
0:37.4	reality of living with mental health challenges. And did you know that there is a quarter
0:41.5	of the number of mental health providers in the Appalachian region compared to the national
0:45.2	average? Y'all that is so hard to believe and it's such a problem for our friends who are
0:49.0	ready to seek help but can't find it. And that is where CAP comes in to help fill the gaps.
0:55.2	They serve families and help children who are dealing with the impacts of a variety of
0:58.9	trauma. Last year, CAP provided essential mental health services to more than 900 individuals
1:04.2	in Eastern Kentucky, which is just awesome. Councilors with CAP often help individuals with
1:09.6	chronic multi-layered problems. And recently CAP's family life counseling services expanded
1:15.0	into additional Appalachian counties. These caring counselors are committed to the value
1:19.5	of the individual, the importance of families and the wisdom of spiritual beliefs and principles.
1:25.1	So weren't they are doing changes lives at strengthens communities and creates a ripple
1:29.1	effect for generations to come. Let's help bridge the gap and provide mental health care
