that I wasn't going to be posting anything to the website in August? Well I guess I fibbed.

No I am now I know you're all jonesing for your Corbett fix and you can't wait to hear my hot take on the latest news passing through the newswires, but that is not why I'm here today.

For August, as you know, I'm taking a bit of a hiatus working on some projects behind the scenes, but I thought as a little special trait, it's the middle of August. I know what you're thinking about.

Man, I wish I had a couple of hours of lecture on the history of mass media to keep me

occupied during this Corbett hiatus.

Well, here you are, guys.

I am going to deliver for you today.

So here's what we're going to do.

I am going to play the first lesson of the Mass Media History online course, which I hope you know by now is available through New World next week.

It is a three lesson course, and in those three lessons there's five and a half hours of lecture.
