New surveillance video showing immigration enforcement agents talking to management at the Millie's

restaurant on Massachusetts Avenue Tuesday morning.

Millie's owner says agents asked to see I-9 forms.

It's very concerning. The employees are very scared. We're worried about some of them not coming

back to work and just a general panic amongst the people that it affects.

Nearly a dozen law enforcement and immigration officials wearing DHS uniforms,

also walking into El Central Restaurant in Georgetown,

chef Jeff's restaurant on New Mexico Avenue Northwest,

and Ghost Burger on 9th Street Northwest again wanting I-9

forms which are employment verification forms used to make sure if employees are legally allowed to

work in the United States this video showing what appears to be someone taken into custody

DC Mayor Muriel Bowser saying DC police are not involved in the crackdown.

I have heard those reports. I've been getting them all morning. I am disturbed by them.

It appears that ICE is at restaurants or even in neighborhoods. And it doesn't look like they're

targeting criminals. And so it is disrupting.

Immigration support organizations want to remind workers that they have a right to remain silent.
