And I mean that in a positive way.

We had theorized last week that UFC 256 shaped up as the kind of event that probably wasn't

going to do a huge number in the pay-per-view buy rate department,

but that it could potentially serve up a bunch of fun fights.

And it did, man.

I would even say it overachieved, probably one of the better UFC cards we have seen in

recent memory, of course, capped off with Davis and Figurado's majority draw with Brandon Moreno,

Charles Olivares, shockingly easy victory over Tony Ferguson in the co-main event.

How was your Saturday night? How did this go down for you?

Can you imagine going briefly back in time to like last week and telling us that UFC

256 was going to end in a majority draw and everybody would come away going, wow, this

was awesome.

How often does that happen?

That never happens.

This is a weirdly satisfying majority draw.

Yeah, I agree. And as I think we'll end up discussing a little bit later on, maybe one of the

best things that could happen for the feather weights at this point, because now you can

go ahead and book an immediate rematch that there will probably be more of a desire to see than

there was the initial fight, just because of the name recognition associated

with both guys in it. But top to bottom, this I say was probably the best UFC event of the year.
