Summary
Courtney Yannacci joins me today and I couldn’t be more excited to share her first marathon experience with you all! Courtney is the Acting Chief of Staff at Every Mother Counts (EMC) and this year she ran the New York City Marathon as a fundraiser for the organization.
I have had the opportunity to coach the EMC charity teams for Big Sur, Chicago and NYC Marathons and also was a fundraiser myself this year for NYC so it was really cool to connect deeper with one of my teammates for this conversation.
303,000 women die around the world as a result of complications of pregnancy and childbirth, every year. Every Mother Counts exists to step in and make sure that people have access to safe, equitable and respectful maternal care.
TODAY is Giving Tuesday and if you are looking for a place donate for this amazing day- my fundraiser for EMC is still up AND you can also give directly to their website as well! Today they have a sponsor matching up to $25,000 in donations for Giving Tuesday so it’s a great day to give!
