What about magnesium?

0:34.4

Why is it that magnesium helps us fall asleep?

0:39.1

So magnesium, again,

0:43.1

so many different forms of magnesium. That's the other question I was going to have. There's so many different forms of magnesium. How do you know which one actually works for the water? Because

0:47.1

it's confusing for me. This is what I do. So what magnesium ultimately, in a nutshell,

0:53.0

it is for muscle and tissue relaxation, right?

0:58.0

So a lot of people have the tension from the day, from the stress, from the workouts, from your day-to-day activities.

1:04.8

And so the magnesium helps to release that tension, relieve that, and get into, and stay into that sleep cycle, those sleep cycles

1:12.6

that you want to be in. A lot of people like to take magnesium or Epsom salt baths, right? So again,

1:18.4

a different form of magnesium. And it's, you can absorb it through your skin as well. And then the bath,

1:23.8

the warm bath helps you kind of relax. So whatever, whether you're taking it or whether

1:28.3

you're absorbing it cutaneously, whatever you find that helps you. And that's what we tell people,

1:33.4

we've got to meet you where you're at. What helps you and what doesn't help you. And a lot of

1:37.1

this has to do with documenting. Just like when you're doing a fitness plan or a nutrition plan,

1:42.5

what seems to be working and what can we tweak? What can

1:45.7

we change? So that has a lot to do with it. So a lot of people will find that the wrong types of

1:52.2

magnesium at the wrong types of day because excessive amounts of magnesium can also cause you to

1:56.7

use the restroom. So it's typically when I supplement with magnesium, which I do, I take mine at night

2:02.6

because I know that I feel like it helps me fall asleep. And I don't take a sleep supplement.
