Waititi's new film, Next Goal Wins, which is coming your way on Boxing Day. I've seen it. It's so good.

Also, I was lucky enough to see a preview of poor things this week,

Jorgos Lanthamos's film.

Oh, my giddy aunt.

It is absolutely extraordinary.

So we're hoping to have Jorgos on the show possibly with his composer as well.

You might have seen some stuff about the film. I'll tell you more about that towards the end of the episode. But we

recently had writer-director Charlotte Regan on the podcast to discuss her brilliant debut feature

Scrapper. And can we all say right now, huge congratulations for all the Biffa nominations. So deserved. And today we

are following up on that episode with her composer Patrick Johnson, who's also nominated. It's such

great news. Squapper, we absolutely adored this film. It tells the story of a young girl, Georgie, and her estranged

father, Jason, who comes into her life for the first time following the death of her mother.

Told very much from Georgie's perspective, the music had to communicate her innocence and wonder,

so we're better to start than with Patrick's main theme for her.
