All right, everyone, welcome back to another episode of the Human Performance Outliers

0:13.1

podcast.

0:14.4

This is part two of a four-part series episodes that I am doing that are focused on the training cycle and

0:24.9

nutrition inputs that I follow when preparing for an ultramarathon race, which for me is usually

0:31.7

going to be peaking for something similar to like a hundred mile distance. So keep that in mind

0:36.2

as you think about like the order of operations of how I do these things in the training cycle and the nutrition inputs that I

0:42.3

use for them. If you didn't listen to the first one, which was the off season, I do encourage you

0:47.8

to go back and listen to that, at least at the beginning, because I do kind of highlight some

0:50.9

aspects of this training or this podcast episode series that I'm doing

0:55.6

1:17.6

things anyway.

1:18.0

One is I'm trying to get my training back to where I'm hitting some of the volume targets

1:24.7

that are more typical in the kind of the meat of my training cycle.

1:29.1

So I'm coming off that off season where I may have had like very little inputs on days

1:33.7

where I'm not very motivated, where I really feel like I need the rest and recovery.

1:37.3

And I'm starting to really add the running related structure back to my training.
