Summary

This is part 2 of Doctrine and Covenants 121-123. It originally got eaten by my computer but today it was partially recovered. Sorry, it's a little disjointed and I didn't comment after Dawn's comments, etc. I'm just grateful I was able to get some of it back.

This is Come Follow Me for us. A weekly podcast devoted to helping us gain a deeper love

0:06.7

for the Savior and his gospel through a weekly study of the Scriptures. Hopefully this

0:10.3

study will help further prepare us to accompany the Savior as he beckons. Come Follow Me.

Okay, the second half of this podcast has been partially recovered. It's kind of choppy

0:23.7

and piece together a little weird. There's not like intros to dons parts and whatever

0:29.7

but it's here and yay. So here it is in its roughest form, episode 39, which is part

0:37.9

two of Dr. Uncovenants 121 through 123.

President Eiring says this, and so I challenge you to go for the Lord to someone despite

0:48.4

any fear you may have to extend love and forgiveness. I promise you that as you do you will feel

0:54.3

the love of the Savior for that person and his love for you. And it will not seem to

0:59.1

come from a great distance. For you that challenge may be in a family, it may be in a community

1:04.4

or it may be across a nation. But if you go for the Lord to bless others, he will see

1:11.6

and reward it. If you do this often enough and long enough, you will feel a change in

1:16.5

your very nature through the atonement of Jesus Christ. Not only will you feel closer

1:21.6

to him, but you will also feel more and more that you are becoming like him. I think of

1:26.9

this pavilion and I think about how it's covered on top and open on all the sides around

1:32.9

it. And I think sometimes when God seems distant to people, maybe there's a pavilion

1:40.4

between them and God, the sides are open. And that's where we can come in and we can

1:46.1

lift these arms at Hinglo and we can take a meal or make a phone call or send one more

1:53.1

text or pray or do whatever we can to help because sometimes it's going to take people

1:59.1

coming in from the sides a little bit until we get to a place where we feel that we can

2:05.0

get that pavilion lifted. Sometimes maybe our hearts need to be lifted a little bit
