But first, David, I want to just note that this is the month, March in 1963, when the Beach

Boys hit the Billboard charts with the number one song of 1963 Surf in USA.

David, the song checks every hot

surf spot, including those where you and I grew up. And by the way, you and I are both,

I was born in L.A. and raised in Torrance. You were actually born in Torrance, right?

I was born in Torrance. We lived in Manhattan Beach. Dad was still at USC.

And then by kindergarten, I was in Orange County. Yeah, there you go. Well, Beach Boys are our neighbors.

They were from Englewood. Primarily, that's at least Brian Wilson's origin story, is Englewood.
