It is deep into the night Sunday, December 11th, and I am joined on West Coast time by my friend Scott Coleman.

How are you?

That's right, Brad.

We usually don't record this late on Sunday nights,

but circumstances prevailed. And here we are late into the evening. It was a fun and action-packed

week across baseball with the winter meetings going on. Maybe not the busiest week of all time

for the Atlanta Braves, but nonetheless, we have plenty to talk about, and I hope

you're sipping coffee or tea or whatever it is that you do to stay awake.

Yeah, we're buckling down.

I was going to make a joke about how we couldn't record because of the White Lois finale,

but that's not really true, although you got to watch it, and do not spoil it for anybody

that listening to this podcast. I think you got to watch it. And I had to cover a Hawks game in person, which is why we're starting this podcast at 10.30 p.m.

Eastern. And anyway, long story short, I might be just out of my mind by the end of this thing. not a huge Braves week necessarily. There was one pretty big move that happened several days ago that we'll touch on here

just to get our own opinions on this.
