By contrast out here at home, David, it is pouring rain where our studio is, but I'm not.

Hey, what's on your mind with DC News?

Well, you know, it's interesting. I guess I don't have a great

California connection to the story, but the White House pulled Dave Weldon this morning as CDC

director, who had been kind of famously anti-vax and was not really in the same group with some of these

other guys going to other, the NIH and, you know, Jay is someone I like a lot and, and there's

others that I think are going to have a good place at FDA and an NIH in Trump's health portfolio. But Weldon, they said wasn't

going to have the votes in the Senate and the White House pulled him. And that's the first one

since obviously Matt Gates' debacle. But anyways, yeah, I don't know what exactly, what information they got that made them pull it,

but they have pulled it.

Can you think of any through line there?

Like, why would they pull a guy like Welton?
