the big Trump speech last night, and I think you said it best. So maybe I'll just ask you to repeat

what you said earlier in the day

if you don't mind sharing. What's your general assessment? And then I want to talk about one of

the Democrats who responded to that speech. Well, I'll just read what I put on our little private

text board with you and me and a few of the felons that we hang out with because I happen to know I didn't curse

in the text because I'm not cursing at all for Lent. And so what I said was thank you to one of the

people who complimented something else I had done. As far as the feedback on last night, more or less, I thought the same thing

most honest people did. It was a very effective speech for the president. It was way too long.

The Dems absolutely be clown themselves in ways that were totally avoidable. And much of what

President Trump said was spot on. The tariff protectionist stuff will come back to bite him.

But as we saw about 16 hours after he said it, he doesn't really mean most of it,

so it's hard to get worked up about.

His economic duncery is not new for me and doesn't bother me anymore.

And he has the ability to focus on good things being done in a way that overshadows
