Des Moines. We talk about U.S. men's soccer. We're just going to roll through a few topics before we get to an interview with Ricci Ladezma later in the

episode. You good with that Greg? Bells everyone's so excited to hear you speaking to

Ricci Ladezma. Yes I'm very good at that. Let's get to that interview

right after these bits.

Okay, some bits coming up. First bit is MLS Decision Day. It happened two days ago

now and the playoffs are coming up tomorrow and Thursday the knockout

rounds but I just thought I'd take a moment to say MLS Cup is great and all but for me

the supporter shield is the most impressive accomplishment in the league.

That's the trophy for the best regular season record in the league.

It takes all the guesswork out of a playoff run and shows who was best over the course of the season and so a big

congratulations from all of us here at Scuff to New York Red Bulls who emerged

from a wild final day of the season with the trophy

and got to pop the champagne as a result.

Congratulations to soon to be announced U.S. men's national team coach Chris Armis.

That's right Chris Armis. That's right.

Armis, Marsh, Adams, Long, Parker, Sean Davis,

Louis Robles, of course, Kaku and Royer and BWP.

Just happy for them.

They play an appealing brand of soccer, at least one that's fun to watch and they play the

kids too. Yeah I almost like watch MLS as like US men's national team

Karmick scale.
