Hello and welcome back to another episode of the Truth Seekers

If you've been following along, then you know that the Israelites have been in the desert for

a very long time.

Do you remember how long the Israelites had to wander in the desert?

If you said 40 years, you are correct.

We left the Israelites wandering the desert for 40 years until the entire generation of Israelites

who had rebelled against God, passed away, and a new younger generation of their children

were now ready to enter the land.

Well, our man Moses was getting older, and it was now time for him to anoint a new leader

who would lead the people into the promised land of Canaan.

Do you have any idea who the new leader would be?

Who could possibly fill Moses shoes?

Moses was the one who had led the people out of Egypt

and he had been their leader all these years.

Who would take his place?

Did you say Joshua?

Well if you did you're correct.

Joshua would be the man God had chosen to replace Moses as the new leader of Israel.

Then the Lord said to Moses,

Go up this mountain in the Aberram Range
