Welcome to Episode 375. In this episode we are joined by Neil Thollander from Smorgasborg: A Star Trek Universe Podcast. We go over our winners to the I Become Death audiobook contest written by Joe Stark. In Good Pop Bad Pop this week for TV we talk about The Serpent on Netflix based on the crimes of serial killer Charles Sobhraj, who murdered young tourists between 1975–1976. We also discuss Made for Love on HBO Max starring Cristin Milioti as a young woman, on the run after 10 years in a suffocating marriage to a tech billionaire, suddenly realizes that her husband has implanted a revolutionary monitoring device in her brain that allows him to track her every move. In Movies we talk about the video game documentary Not a Game on Netflix. We also discuss the new Idris Elba film Concrete Cowboy also on Netflix where a teenager discovers the world of urban horseback riding when he moves in with his estranged father in North Philadelphia. In News Adam Wingard is going to direct a Thundercats movie and we have some of the worst casting choices ever. American Gods was canceled by Starz but could find new life elsewhere. Sylvester Stallone is writing a Rocky Prequel series for streaming. And the Knives Out franchise has been bought by Netflix. In Marvel News Russel Crowe joins the cast of Thor: Love and Thunder.
