The Second is Insert Coin which is the oral history of a team of misfits in the back of a Chicago factory creating the biggest video games (Mortal Kombat, NBA JAM, and others) of all time. For TV this week we talk about the new Omar Sy series Lupin on Netflix. We watched Nicolas Cage’s History of Swear Words on Netflix. We all discuss the new Disney+ series Marvel Studios: Legends. Brian talks about The Players Tribune YouTube mini-documentary The Real Eddy Curry | So … You Want the Real Story? And he and Jake watched that other Leftover show… No, not the HBO Leftovers, the other, other Leftover show on Netflix. Best Leftovers Ever! a cooking competition show where home cooks compete to transform leftovers into delicious creations, finding ways to give old leftovers new life, all in the hopes of winning a $10,000 prize. In News Roku buys Quibi programs. Michael B. Jordan confirmed to direct Creed 3. Taika Waititi is working on another FX series. And Richard Donner wants to make a fifth and final Lethal Weapon. And we wrap in Marvel News where I’ve got a theory that I think Marvel is building towards Wanda creating the Mutants and I’ll get into how I think Marvel Studios has slowly been setting that up.
