Here we are on the third and final part of our discussion of the canons or rules of faith that came out of the first worldwide synod of the church, the first ecumenical council at Nicaea. Remember from the previous two episodes,

we organized the canons into two broad categories, canons on the clergy, and canons dealing with

the lapsed Christians and heretics. If you want to hear more about the canons on the clergy,
