You accused some leftist at being obsessed with presidential elections not working at the state at local level

And I think it's a ridiculous fiction and I've heard it so many times it's absurd

It is 2024 there is a presidential election this year. I have this argument so many times this

podcast. I know what to do. We'll spend three years in between. I do hundreds of episodes every

year talking about everything under the sun the environment labor issues everything else how

can we or I have people on and I beg them to give people specifics places to go

organizations to join places to donate I don't know what else to do. But if I mention in the context of organizing

the fact that in 10 months, like it or not, there is going to be a political election

that 90% of news coverage this year is going to be focused on that election

and that there are quite obviously opportunities

to advance the interests of the left in the context of that political and media cycle,

you're suddenly accused of being obsessed with only presidential election.

That's ridiculous.

You cannot have a conversation about the fact. You know what, you know what, I actually think we should probably bring this

discussion in for a land. Okay. Here's a deal. Don't characterize me, please.

And it's like, I try to respect people that are doing interviews with me and I do a lot of interviews myself and one thing I always try to do is to capture exactly what the person I'm interviewing is saying and take them
