We're talking about the 1987 Kathryn Bigelow-directed film "Near Dark." Special topics for your consideration include: just trying to imagine being insanely beautiful, the utter horrors of child vampires, another tally in the "horses are smarter than us and ready to destroy us at a moment's notice" column, Bill Paxton in all of his weird clown glory, and a possible new business venture Allen devised.
