Hello and welcome to the LawFair podcast. I'm Wells Bennett. Last month LawFair attended

1:24.7

the International Military Law and Operations Conference in Bangkok and heard a talk given

1:29.7

by Alan Liota, the Department of Defense's principal director for the Office of detainee

2:27.4

presented is very pointed and personal, with reflection and connections with TAC. I'm not going

2:34.4

to do that. I think my experience probably will work and I've come on the ball of news, so

2:39.4

a lot of us take that as we have a common understanding about a cat and all the way to be

2:42.4

embarrassed and stories to all of us. The interesting reason I'm here is because of the cat,

2:49.4

and he told me that he really wanted me to come out and drive a presentation on the detention

2:54.4

history, the detention policy, and how we got to where we are at the moment and where we're going
