Hi, everyone. I hope you had a wonderful week. I am still recovering from both COVID and now the flu,

but I was able to get it together to record an episode. I had such a nice time talking with Kendrick.

You know, this is one of the things that brings me joy throughout the week. I love chatting housewives.

It's where I get energy from.

If that makes sense, I feel like I can always find energy when I'm talking about Bravo.

The rest of the time, I'm a little bit, like, half dead. But yeah, anyways, tried to put together an

episode. We talk about Karen Hugar a lot in the first half of the episode, you know, talking about the videos that they had of her, both, you know, after her trial and then right before the reunion. And then I was just sent an article in the Washington Post where I don't think I realize

as Karen fired her attorneys after the trial and got new attorneys who are appropriate for

criminal defense and this kind of thing. And they're putting together quite, you know,

not a defense of her, And they're putting together quite, you know, not a defense of her, but

they're trying to make the sentence lighter. And they're telling the judge that Karen, you know,

went to a rehab in Florida, that she realizes she had issues with alcohol and over-reliance on antidepressants

and trauma from a rape that she had 42 years ago, which she has talked about on the show.

The phrase I'm a little confused by is an over-reliance on antidepressants. It's like, did you take antidepressants

and that is what made you act the way that you acted in those videos from the dash cam? No,

it's the alcohol. And maybe it's mixing the two, but an over-reliance on antidepressants is such a weird phrase to use.

So I'm wondering if she's trying to get off of antidepressants so that maybe she can continue drinking and it won't have the same impact. I have no idea.

But then again, in this article, it says that she goes to AA meetings every morning and has

coffee at AA. So we will see. We'll see if she actually has accepted that she has a very

serious problem with alcohol. And, you know, it also goes, this article explains that she did have three prior alcohol-related
