Hello and welcome back to another episode of the Truth Seekers podcast.

A Truth Seeker is someone who wants to know the truth.

They search for what's true and they won't rest until they find it.

come to the right place where we will search for truth each week in the stories of the Bible.

If you've been following along then you know that we have been learning about the Israelites and their journey through the desert to the promise land.

You might be thinking, will they ever reach the promise land?

They will, but God has so many things he wants to teach them

before they get there. So far they have had to learn to trust him for their food

and water. They have had to trust him to leave them by a pillar of cloud by day

and a pillar of fire by night. They have had to trust him with just about everything.

Do you remember the name of the special place that Moses and the Israelites built for God's presence to come and dwell among them? If you said the Tabernacle, then you are correct.

In today's episode, we are going to learn about Aaron.

Do you remember who Aaron was?

He was Moses brother.

God allowed Aaron to travel with Moses and help Moses lead the people out of slavery in Egypt.

And now God was going to give Aaron and his sons a very very

important job. After the tabernacle had been completed and all of the important pieces of furniture placed inside and the curtain to separate the holy from the most holy place had been raised, God told Moses to bring Aaron and his sons with their special

clothing and anointing oil and gather the entire assembly at the entrance to the tabernacle.

Moses did as the Lord commanded him and the assembly gathered at the entrance to the tabernacle.

Moses said to all the people,

This is what the Lord has commanded to be done.
