Summary

This is not where many of us expected to be in early 2017, but here we are. In just a few days, a man who openly questioned the legitimacy of our nation’s first black President, Donald Trump, will take the oath of office. As you can imagine, this has weighed on us at Waypoint.

Rather than keep those thoughts and anxieties private, we decided to open up. Last week, we asked you so submit questions for the podcast, questions that examined our relationship with politics. This doesn’t just mean our reaction to Trump, but how our politics influences the way we play, cover, and discuss games, the kind of media we consume—we cover a lot of bases.

1:39.2	has I think pushed us to be in a place where what we wanted to do was take some
1:43.2	tie out of our normal schedule to like think a lot about politics and about
1:48.8	games in relation to politics and about the world and you and us and everyone
1:54.4	around us and and so we kind of set out and said hey send us some questions
1:59.3	about politics and games and we had some great questions so we're gonna start
2:02.7	the next like 40 minutes 35 minutes answering those kind of a question bucket
2:07.2	episode of politics bucket episode and do our best to provide some good answers
2:12.1	and I'll keep those questions that that haven't you know that maybe we don't get
