Hello again, friends, and you are our friends and welcome back to another edition of Jim

Cornette's drive-through right here on another summer's day.

And of course, we have a lot to talk about, but we're going to begin right away by talking

about the life, the career, the man who we all love, Terry Funk.

I am the great Brian Lass, but here's the star of the drive-through, Mr. Jim Cornette.

Well this is, um, this is another one that I could have done without doing, to be honest,

a show, and not because of, we don't want to talk to the listeners, but because of the

subject that we have to address at the top of the program before we do anything else,

because one of the most important figures in, not only in my lifetime in wrestling, but

in the history of professional wrestling is gone.

And you know, we've, it's kind of cathartic, I guess.

We do these shows when we don't want to and get it out.

This just, the news just came out yesterday afternoon as we're speaking and, you know,

you, Brian and I, we both, we've had over the last few weeks, family issues, medical

issues, you know, all kinds of tugs on our time back and forth.

And it's like, oh, we've got to record, we've got to watch this, we've got to watch that.

I'll reveal, we're not going to talk about last night's AEW dynamite on the program, because

after I heard, and I know Brian, you feel the same way after, I heard what the news was

yesterday afternoon, the last thing I wanted to do was watch anymore current wrestling.

So we'll pick up some of the things that we might normally do on this program on the

experience in a few days, however long it takes us, but as you said, Terry Funk passed

away 79 years old. And, you know, people who are within the business have known for some
